SHILLONG, Sept 7: : The state government on Wednesday constituted a 4-member enquiry committee to investigate the various complaints and grievances of the teachers of the Pine Mount School Shillong.

The committee will be headed by the secretary to the government of Meghalaya R. Rapthap, IAS, education department.

This committee will inquire into the various complaints and grievances of the Pine Mount School teachers and to submit reports of their findings and recommendation for resolving the issues by the state government at the earliest.

Meanwhile, the commissioner & secretary of the Education Department Dr. B.D.R. Tiwari directed the teachers and advised them not to resort to any form of agitation in the interest of the peaceful atmosphere of the school.
