Williamnagar, March 3: With the aim of providing students from Class IX to XII with a strong foundation in competitive exams such as NEET, JEE, CUET and Olympiads, Greenyard Higher Secondary School, Williamnagar on Monday organised a sensitization program for students and parents.

The event was conducted in collaboration with the renowned coaching institute SPM & Lalan’s from Guwahati.

Prominent educators from the institute—Mrinal Das, the Business Development Manager; Abhishek Anand, the Chief Technology Officer and faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science (Precondition); Aviral Agarwal, the Senior Mathematics Faculty; and Dr. Sudhir Kumar, the Biology Faculty—provided insights on the benefits and advantages of enrolling in their coaching programs. They explained how structured guidance and expert mentorship could enhance students’ academic performance and competitive exam readiness.

The program was graced by the presence of Sub-Divisional School Education Officer (SDEO) Samuel K. Sangma, along with members of the school’s managing committee.

Speaking on the occasion, Samuel K. Sangma commended the school administration for facilitating such an opportunity in Williamnagar. He emphasized that this initiative would not only benefit students from the town but also those from nearby areas like Rongjeng and Samanda, giving them access to quality coaching without the need to travel far.

The event concluded with an interactive session where parents engaged with the faculty, seeking clarifications about the coaching programs. Their queries were addressed in detail, and many parents expressed their satisfaction, appreciating Greenyard Higher Secondary School for bringing such a valuable opportunity to their children.
