Shillong, Oct 10: Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr. M. Ampareen Lyngdoh, has expressed deep sorrow over the devastating floods and landslides in West and South Garo Hills, which have claimed 17 lives, left many injured, and destroyed hundreds of homes.
Dr. Lyngdoh assured that Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma and his administration are working diligently to assist the affected communities. She emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring that medical facilities are on high alert to provide timely healthcare to victims and address their urgent needs.
