Having faced relegation four years ago, the youthful players of Shillong Lajong FC are eager to rekindle the football fervor in the city. Their recent match against Mohammedan Sporting on November 3 ended in a highly competitive 1-1 draw, setting the stage for an exhilarating season.

The potential squad for the upcoming face-off against NEROCA comprises Neithovilie Chalieu as the goalkeeper, alongside players Ronney Kharbudon, Kynsailang Khongsit, Damaitphang Lyngdoh, Takuto Miki, Hardy Cliff Nongbri (Captain), Phrangki Buam, Abdou Karim Samb, Daniel Goncalves, Allen Lyngdoh Nongbri, and Renan Paulinho de Souza.
