IAF showcases Aerobatic excellence at Dubai Air Show with Tejas and Sarang displays

New Delhi, Nov 15: At Dubai Air Show, the Indian Air Force enthralled spectators with their aerobatic prowess and precision flying. The showcase featured the indigenously developed Tejas aircraft, along with a daring performance by the Sarang helicopter pilots team, exhibiting the capabilities of another homegrown marvel, the Dhruv ALH helicopter.

The Dubai Air show started off on Monday the 13th and is scheduled to run until the 17th.

The Indian Air Force contingent at the Dubai Air Show includes two homegrown platforms: the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas and the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv. The Tejas is set to feature in both static and aerial displays throughout the airshow. Additionally, the Sarang Helicopter Display Team will showcase their impressive formation aerobatics skills.

The Dubai Air Show was inaugurated by the Indian ambassador to the UAE, Sunjay Sundhir.

 

Taking to X, he wrote, “In a spectacular display of technological prowess, India’s indigenously developed #Tejas aircraft stole the spotlight at #DubaiAirShow2023, showcasing its exceptional performance capabilities and cutting-edge features.”

 

For the second year in a row, the Tejas and Sarang display teams are poised to captivate the audience at the Dubai Airshow, following their participation in the 2021 edition.
