Shillong, Oct 17: As part of 91st Anniversary celebrations of Indian Air Force (IAF), Headquarters Eastern Air Command (EAC) is organizing an Air Display by IAF aircraft over Umiam Lake, Shillong on October 20, 2023, as part of its public outreach initiative.

The air show is planned on October 20 at 9 AM. The Full Dress Rehearsal (FDR) was conducted on October 17, 2023.

The air display will comprise a Flypast by ALH & Chinook helicopters, Dornier transport aircraft, SU-30 & Rafale fighter jets.

The aircraft will carry out formation flying and other extraordinary aerial manoeuvres demonstrating exceptional flying skills and professionalism.

The Grand finale would be the helicopter formation flying display by the Sarang Helicopter Display Team. Sarang Display Team is acknowledged as one of the best helicopter display teams in the world.
