IIT Dhanbad students injured after vehicle plunges 100 feet in Sikkim

Gangtok, Mar 16: At least 10 IIT Dhanbad students were injured after their vehicle plunged 100 feet in Sikkim’s Mangan district on Saturday night.

The accident occurred around 9:30 pm when the tourist vehicle, traveling from Lachung towards Gangtok, lost control near the Pakshep forest area and tumbled off the road.

The vehicle was carrying six male and four female students. The driver, along with the passengers, sustained injuries in the crash.

Three of the injured students were rushed to STNM Hospital in Gangtok for treatment, while the others received medical attention at Mangan District Hospital.
