Tura, Oct 21: The 50th anniversary of Gabil, Gare, Mrenda, Me•gongagre and Megam (GGMMM) Mahari Association was celebrated at Green Haven, Tura on Saturday.

The chief guest for the event was Kulert C. Momin. The programme started by a dedication prayer by Barlind M. Sangma followed by blowing of trumpet, hoisting of flags and presentation of bouquet to chief guest.

The event also witnessed an exhibition of traditional indigenous items, historical artefacts, literary works and achievements of the Association and its members.
