New Delhi, June 5 : The INDIA bloc remains open to all parties that uphold the values of the Constitution, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge stated on Wednesday. He said during the first meeting of the opposition following the success in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

Kharge, addressed the opposition leaders at his residence, commended the unity and determination displayed by all INDIA alliance partners during the election campaign.

“The mandate is decisively against Modi, against him and the substance and style of his politics. It is a huge political loss for him personally apart from being a clear moral defeat as well. However, he is determined to subvert the will of the people,” Kharge declared.

He emphasized that the INDIA alliance is open to any party that is fundamentally committed to the constitutional values of economic, social, and political justice. “The INDIA alliance welcomes all parties which share its fundamental commitment to the values enshrined in the Preamble to our Constitution and to its many provisions for economic, social and political justice,” he further stated.

Expressing gratitude to the INDIA bloc partners, Kharge stated, “I welcome all INDIA alliance partners. We fought well, fought unitedly, fought resolutely.”
