New Delhi, Sep 13: Blue Dart, the logistics company, announced on Wednesday that it has rebranded one of its premium services in India from Dart Plus to Bharat Dart.
In a company filing, Blue Dart said, “This strategic transformation marks a milestone in Blue Dart’s ongoing journey, underscoring its unwavering commitment to serving the diverse needs of Bharat”.
The company said that it has renamed Dart Plus to Bharat Dart following an extensive discovery and research process.
The statement said, “Blue Dart Express Limited invites all stakeholders to join on this transformative journey as the company continues to connect Bharat to the world and the world to Bharat”.
Following this move, Blue Dart Managing Director, Balfour Manuel, said, “This rebranding represents an exciting transformation for us as we continue to serve the length and breadth of the country.”
This surprise announcement by the Blue Dart comes days after President Droupadi Murmu’s invitation to G20 leaders carrying the President of Bharat instead of the President of India went viral, resulting in a huge political row.
There was also speculation thatin the special session of Parliament, which is scheduled to start on September 18, is aimed at renaming India as Bharat.
