Guwahati, June 12: Indian Army has conducted a flood rescue mock drill at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati on Wednesday. The mock drill was attended by NDRF, SDRF, ASDMA, SSB and District Administration as well as NCC students.
The Indian Army soldiers demonstrated in the mock drill how a person trapped in flood was saved and how a person who was struggling with death was saved using a helicopter.
The demonstration was witnessed by IIT Guwahati students, residents and amongst others.
Through this mock drill, army soldiers demonstrated the easy way to save flood victims.
