Guwahati, Feb 20: Following a multi-layered, rigorous audit, the Assam government unearthed irregularities in Ayushman Bharat health scheme.
Eight hospitals have been de-empanelled and case has been lodged against two other hospitals.

He said fines totalling Rs 1.18 crore have been collected from hospitals till date.
“Last year 4.5 lakh claims were made. A multi-layered audit and monitoring system has been put in place for verification which unearthed the irregularities done by the hospitals,” he said.
