New Delhi, Oct 10: Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu dialled PM Narendra Modi, and updated him on the ongoing situation.

In the telephonic conversation, PM Modi said that people of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour.

He also said that India condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

‘I thank Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his phone call and providing an update on the ongoing situation. The people of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour. India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi on X.

This is for the first time when both the leaders have spoken after the war broke out.

On October 7, PM Modi had expressed shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. he sad that India stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour.

On Monday, PM Netanyahu said-Israel is at war.

“We didn’t want this war. It was forced upon us in the most brutal and savage way. But though Israel didn’t start this war, Israel will finish it.” he said.
