Shillong, Oct 8: Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday vowed to turn all known militant outfit into rubble.
He said, “We will forcefully avenge this dark day that they have forced on the State of Israel and its citizens.”

Over 313 people were killed and 1,500 wounded in the deadliest attack on Israel. Hamas fighters took several numbers of civilians and soldiers captive in Gaza.
Soon after the attack, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said the military would use all of its strength to destroy Hamas’ capabilities. But he warned, “This war will take time. It will be difficult.”
Meanwhile, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said the assault would spread to the West Bank and Jerusalem. The Gazans have lived under an Israeli blockade for 16 years.
Pope Francis on Sunday called for end to attacks and violence in Israel, saying terrorism and war would not solve any problems, but only bring further suffering and death to innocent people. He said, “War is a defeat, only a defeat. Let’s pray for peace in Israel and Palestine,” the pope said in his weekly address to faithful in St. Peter’s Square.
United States President Joe Biden has assured “rock solid” support for Israel and decried terrorist attacks by Palestinian militant group Hamas, with an announcement on US military aid anticipated soon.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed shock at what he called “terrorist attacks” and conveyed “solidarity with Israel”.
According to the statement issued from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office on Saturday night said that the Israel will stop supplying electricity, fuel and goods to Gaza.
Also, the India’s Representative Office to Palestine asked all Indian nationals in Ramallah to directly contact the office in case of any emergency or if any assistance is needed while providing a 24-hour emergency helpline.
India has also issued an advisory for its nationals in Israel asking them to remain vigilant and observe safety protocols.
Israel was attacked on Saturday by the Hamas militants and since then the conflict between both the sides are underway.
