Shillong, April 15: The Government of Meghalaya has appointed Jude R.T. Sangma as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tura Municipal Board, in addition to his existing role as Additional Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills District, Tura.

The appointment comes into effect from the date he assumes charge and will remain in force until further orders.

The Personnel & A.R. (A) Department issued the official notification on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the government has also withdrawn the order of giving additional charge of CEO of Tura Municipal Board to Florina Boro, Additional Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills.
