Shillong, July 26: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday honoured the heroes of the Indian Armed Forces who fought uncompromisingly to secure the glorious victory in Operation Vijay.
Taking to Twitter, CM wrote, “We salute the brave soldiers of the country who gave their today for our tomorrow.”

Meghalaya DGP Dr. LR Bishnoi also remembered the valiant soldiers who fearlessly defended the nation’s honour during the Kargil War.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also paid his tributes to India’s bravehearts at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras.
