Shillong, Feb 24: The Voice of the People Party (VPP) has secured victory from the stronghold of its party president in the Nongkrem constituency and also won in the Laitumkhrah constituency.
However, in Laban-Mawprem, the VPP failed to make a breakthrough and was defeated by Independent candidate Bah Ricky Shullai.
And, sitting MLA, Synshar Lyngdoh won in Sohiong.
