Shillong, Jan 31: Chairman of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and four-time NPP MDC Lamphrang Blah on Friday filed his nomination papers seeking reelection from Mawphlang-Diengiei constituency.
Speaking to reporters, Blah has expressed confidence that he would be able to retain the seat in the upcoming ADC polls.

“I am grateful to the people of the constituency for their love and support and for electing me for four consecutive terms. Therefore, I am confident that they will again repose their faith in me,” he said.
“As a party, we have done so much for the welfare of the people but still there is so much to be done. Therefore, I urge the people to give me a chance to again represent them as their MDC in the KHADC,” Blah added.
