Shillong, Nov 20: Local boy Damaitphang Lyngdoh has been included in the Bengaluru FC squad for the 2021-22 Indian Super League (ISL) season.
Damaitphang Lyngdoh hailing from Umlyngka, Upper Shillong Meghalaya, is a Bengaluru FC (aka Blues) graduate, playing for the Blues Under 16, Under 18 and the Bengaluru B side in several occasions as a Midfielder.
Lyngdoh has made couple of appearance for the senior side making him the youngest ever first team debutant this season and has been named the 2020-21 Upcoming Player of the Season.
Bengaluru FC will play their first match on Saturday taking on North East United FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Goa. Lyngdoh will be wearing the no.40 jersey.
