Shillong, June 15: Four houses were damaged after a massive landslide and storm occurred in two places under South West Khasi Hills District on Saturday.

A landslide took place at Mand and Lummawbah village under Mawkyrwat C&RD Block which affected 18 population and 3 houses were damaged, Secretary in-charge Revenue & Disaster Management Matsiewdor W Nongbri said.

A house was also damaged due to a storm at Mawkhlaitngap village under Mawkyrwat C&RD Block which affected 7 people. Detailed report under assessment, she said.
