Guwahati, Nov 13: The police and CRPF have successfully averted a potential threat in Cachar district, recovering a substantial quantity of explosives and apprehending an individual on Silchar Kalain road.

The operation led to the discovery of a bag containing 97 detonators and 96 fuses, underscoring the significance of the security measures in place to ensure public safety and prevent potential hazards. Investigations are underway to determine the motives and origin of the seized materials.
