Shillong, May 28: Heavy rainfall accompanied by cyclonic storms are lashing Meghalaya and other parts of North East and is likely to continue until Wednesday, as per IMD forecast.

On Tuesday till 1:30 PM, one life was and at least six were reported injured and multiple landslides were reported across the state.

One wall collapsed causing death to one male age (26 years old) two others were injured at Sutnga Weilong, East Jaintia Hills

Four were injured in Mawlai bypass landslide. All four were rushed to NEGRIMHS hospital.
