Tura, Sep 22: A body was recovered near Wadanang Cemetry in West Garo Hills on Friday.
The body was found in an unconscious state, and upon further investigation, a drug overdose is suspected as the cause of death. Authorities have identified the deceased as Amit CH. Marak from Dobasipara, Tura.
At the time of filing this report, the postmortem of the deceased is underway.
