Guwahati, April 27: The Assam unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday reported a massive and spirited participation across the state during the 121st edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship radio address, Mann Ki Baat.
According to a statement from the BJP state headquarters at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan, lakhs of party workers actively tuned in to the broadcast at 29,565 booths across 433 Mandals, covering all 39 organizational districts of Assam. The widespread engagement underscores the party’s deep-rooted organizational strength and its continued efforts to maintain strong grassroots connections.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s impressive achievements across agriculture, horticulture, scientific innovation, and space exploration. He articulated a forward-looking vision of a dynamic, self-reliant New India, inspiring listeners across the country.
Senior BJP leaders across Assam led from the front by participating at booth-level gatherings alongside party workers. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the programme at Booth No. 139 under Biman Kuth Mandal of Guwahati Metropolitan district. State BJP president Dilip Saikia joined from Booth No. 182 in Sivasagar.
Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal participated from Booth No. 179 under Dibrugarh Madhya Mandal. Union Minister Pabitra Margherita and Guwahati Mayor Mrigen Sarania listened in from Booth No. 183 under Ward No. 29 of Shukleshwar Mandal in Guwahati.
BJP spokesperson Ranjiv Kumar Sharma noted that Members of Parliament, MLAs, district presidents, council of ministers, senior office bearers, and thousands of grassroots karyakartas all took part in the collective listening exercise, reinforcing the party’s commitment to reaching every citizen at the booth level.

Assam BJP emphasized that the massive mobilization around Mann Ki Baat not only reflects the increasing resonance of Prime Minister Modi’s vision among the people but also highlights the party’s organizational discipline and its strategy to integrate national narratives into local political engagement.
The party reiterated that the spirit shown during the 121st episode of Mann Ki Baat would further energize its workers and enhance public participation in the ongoing mission of nation-building.
