Shillong, June 16: Massive earthquake tremors were felt in Assam, especially in Guwahati, and Shillong in Meghalaya on Friday morning.
Reports said, Earthquake of magnitude 4.8 struck Bangladesh at a depth of 70 KM.

According to reports, the ground shaking was possibly caused by seismic activity in or near Shillong, Meghalaya at approximately 04:45 GMT.
Reports also said that there were no reports of any loss of lives or damage to property due to the earthquake.
