Mahendraganj, March 25: Meghalaya CM & National President of NPP Conrad K Sangma on Thursday evening addressed a massive election rally at Mahendraganj in South West Garo Hills, to drum up support for party candidate -Premananda Koch for Zikzak and Linekar Sangma for Nogorpara constituency.
Speaking at the rally, he told the gathering that Govt has been able to initiate various development and welfare initiatives, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also told that NPP led Govt was able to restore peace in the State and put all its attention to ensure growth & development.
He also said that Meghalaya is moving ahead with pace, however, some districts are left behind, because the MLAs of those areas are not taking any interest.
He cited that Ampati & Mahendraganj MLAs have never raised issues of the constituencies and urged the people that the GHADC election has given opportunities to the people of the constituencies to choose MDCs, who will raise the voice of the people in council and can also bring the concerns of the people to the State Govt.
He urged the public to unite and vote for NPP and strengthen the government.
