MBOSE SSLC Results: Amebaaihunsha Kharbhih and Arghadeep Saha jointly secure 1st position

Shillong June 10: Amebaaihunsha Kharbhih of St Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Marbisu, and Arghadeep Saha, belonging to a private institution, jointly secured the 1st position in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination 2022, the results of which were declared by the Meghalaya Board of School Examination (MBOSE) on Friday morning. The overall pass percentage this year stands at 56.96.

Both Amebaaihunsha and Arghadeep secured 575 marks each. Amebaaihunsha got distinction marks in English, Mathematics, Science and technology, Social Science, Health and Physical Education, Khasi while Arghadeep got letter marks in English, Mathematics, Science and technology, Social Science, Health and Physical Education, and Alternate English.

The 2nd rank for this year is also held by two students jointly. Menangmankhraw Kharkongor of St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, and Rilaakor Lamare of Auxilium Girls’ Higher secondary School, Shillong, bagged the 2nd position with 569 marks each.

Arghadeep Ghosh of Sherwood School, Tura, secured the 3rd position with 568 marks.

Overall, 14 students made it to the merit list or top 10 ranks.

District wise Pass Percentage of Total Passed stands at: East Khasi Hills – 75.05%, West Khasi Hills – 65.34%, Eastern West Khasi Hills – 71.50%, South West Khasi Hills – 64.10%, Ri-Bhoi – 63.60%, West Jaintia Hills – 77.51%, East Jaintia Hills – 82.36%, East Garo Hills – 39.31%, West Garo Hills – 41.10%, South Garo Hills – 31.63%, North Garo Hills – 36.33%, South West Garo Hills – 26.45%.
