Shillong, Dec 4: The Meghalaya Cricket Association’s (MCA) junior men selection committee has selected 15 players for the team’s last match of the U-19 men’s Cooch Behar Trophy 2024-25, which will be against Karnataka from December 6 to 9 in Bangalore.
One change has been made by the selectors, with Shubham Rasaily put on standby and Rohit Sharma brought into the squad.
Although they have lost all four matches played thus far in Elite Group A, Meghalaya have shown promise, especially in the batting department in their last two games, which were both played at home against the group’s top teams, Baroda and Delhi.
