Shillong, Jan 12: In a heartwarming display of humanity, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma and Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh turned good Samaritans on Sunday when they encountered an accident near Mawkdok while returning from Sohra.

A vehicle carrying two tourists from Assam had met with an accident, leaving both occupants with minor injuries. Upon spotting the distressed tourists, the Chief Minister’s convoy stopped to offer assistance. The doctor accompanying the CM promptly attended to the injured, ensuring they received immediate first aid.

An ambulance was swiftly called, and the victims were transported to the hospital for further care. The timely intervention of the Chief Minister and his team earned appreciation from onlookers, highlighting the importance of compassionate leadership.
