Shillong, June 14: Due to heavy rainfall, a fresh landslide occured on Wednesday morning at the Sonapur Tunnel in East Jaiñtia Hills District, Meghalaya. Following the landslide, the movements of vehicles on National Highway-6 was briefly stopped until all debris were cleared by the authorities.

Lumshnong Police along with the Umkiang Police have advised drivers to exercise caution while driving on National Highway 06.
