Tura, Jan 14: Meghalaya Games 2024 got the first draw of the event on Sunday with West Khasi Hills and South West Khasi Hills playing to a draw in a highly thrilling encounter at the Chandmari football ground in Tura.

From the kick-off, both teams got off to a strong start, delivering a power-packed performance that kept spectators hooked. The intensity was palpable as the players displayed exceptional skill and determination throughout the match.

The first half witnessed an even competition, with both West Khasi Hills and South West Khasi Hills managing to find the back of the net, each scoring one goal. The crowd roared with excitement as the young talents showcased their offensive and defensive capabilities.

As the second half unfolded, the teams continued to vie for dominance on the field. Despite concerted efforts from both sides, the stalemate persisted until the final whistle. The scoreboard reflected an equalizer, with the match concluding in a 1-1 draw.

Both teams were awarded one point each.
