Shillong, Jan 19: The much-awaited ceremonial Torch of the Meghalaya Games 2025 will reach Jowai on January 20, marking the official countdown to the grand sporting event.
Symbolising unity, sportsmanship and the spirit of Meghalaya, the Torch will be carried to Iungwalieh Lumkyrwiang, where it will be ceremoniously placed and made available for public viewing from 2 PM onwards.
This momentous event provides the residents of Jowai a unique opportunity to celebrate the pride and enthusiasm surrounding the Meghalaya Games. The Games will bring together athletes from across the state to compete in various disciplines, showcasing the vibrant sporting culture of Meghalaya.
