Meghalaya: Two arrested with approx. 1.51 grams of suspected Heroin from West Garo Hills, investigation on

Shillong, June 20: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force of West Garo Hills district in Meghalaya arrested two persons with heroin on Monday.

The arrest was made based on a credible source information.

The two persons who have been arrested have been identified as Abinash Lohar (37), son of Dilip Lohar, a resident of Beldarpara, Tura, WGH and Jobarul Hussain (35), son of Nur Kasim, a resident of Kakripara, Mankachar, South Salmara, Assam.

According to reports, approx. 1.51 grams of suspected Heroin, 13 nos. empty vials, 2 mobile phones, cash amounting to Rs. 11,600/- and one auto rickshaw bearing R/No. ML08 J 0131 has been seized from their possession.

Meanwhile, a case is being registered and investigation is underway.
