Shillong, Jan 26: Three personnel, including Vivek Syiem, Superintendent of Police (City), Meghalaya, John M Sangma, AB Inspector, Meghalaya, and Teibor Sumer, Havildar, Meghalaya, were awarded the prestigious Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the 75th Republic Day.

Furthermore, DGP Dr L R Bishnoi, was honored with the prestigious Meghalaya Governor’s Police Medal for Outstanding Service on Republic Day!

Additionally, in another commendation, six personnel from Meghalaya’s Fire & Emergency Services were honoured with the ‘Chief Minister’s Disaster Response Medal’ on the 75th Republic Day.

The Meghalaya Police proudly acknowledged their achievement on X (earlier known as Twitter) and wrote, “Celebrating Meghalaya Police heroes on the 75th Republic Day! Congratulations on the prestigious ‘Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Outstanding Service.”
