Imphal, March 5: The Union Home Ministry has provided ten mine protected Quick Reaction Fighting (QRF) vehicles to Manipur to deal with the prevailing law and order situation.
Already seven QRF vehicles arrived in the state and three more are on the way.
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, who also holds the Home portfolio, on Monday inspected the QRF vehicles in Imphal.
Taking to X, Manipur CM said, “Inspected the 4 latest Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicles (QRFV) which have arrived in the state. Three more are on the way and will be arriving soon,”.

“As many as 10 of these armored personnel carriers will be added to the state’s arsenal for assisting the security forces in enforcing law and order at various locations,” he said.
These mine protected QRF vehicles would greatly help in protecting the security forces while performing their duties at vulnerable spots.
