Mild earthquake jolts North Garo Hills

Shillong, Feb 20: A mild earthquake of magnitude 4.1 struck North Garo Hills, Meghalaya, on Thursday at 11:32 AM.

According to seismic reports, the quake occurred at a shallow depth of 5 km, with its epicenter located at 25.87°N latitude and 90.70°E longitude.

Tremors were felt in parts of the region, but there have been no reports of damage or casualties so far.
