Shillong, Aug 30: One minor girl has gone missing from her house in South West Khasi Hills district and the prime suspect is said to be a Bangladeshi national.
A 14-year-old girl is reported to have allegedly been abducted by a suspected Bangladeshi national for alleged forced marriage.
An FIR filed by the family of the victim with the Nonghyllam police station stated that the minor girl went missing from their residence at 6.45 pm on August 28.
The complaint said that the family strongly suspects one Moiiabul Ali had kidnapped their minor daughter. They urged the police to rescue her and punish the culprit as per law.
