Guwahati, Jan 30: Four individuals were injured after a mob thrashed them on suspicions of cattle theft in Dokoha village, in the Barbhag subdivision of the Nalbari district, Assam, on Tuesday morning.
The mob also set fire to a four-wheeler, believed to have been used by the four individuals.
The injured individuals were taken to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati by the police, where they are admitted and now receiving treatment.
The victims are from different villages in the Barbhag subdivision, with one individual from Katpuha village and the remaining three from Raimadha village.
