Guwahati, May 30: Nalbari district administration organized an awareness meeting with the villages head in Nalbari’s Samata on how to cope from the rains, storm and floods on Thursday.

Deputy commissioner of Nalbari, Barnali Deka along with Nalbari Additional Commissioner and District Chief Executive Officer Runav Ramchiari, Additional District Commissioner Ashutosh Deka, Nalbari District Disaster Management Authority Project Officer Hemant Vaishya Dr. Priyanka Kashyap and several others were present in the awareness meeting along with the village head from different villages participated in this awareness meeting.

Nalbari Commissioner Barnali Deka sensitized the participants on disaster management and how to protect ourselves and others from rain, storm and flood.

Deka also urged the village headmen to be ready to help the people during the rains, storms and floods in this rainy season.
