Tura, February 28: National Science Day 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm today at the Tura Science Centre. The theme of National Science Day (NSD) 2025 was “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat”.

Students from Tura public School, Tura Town HS School, LGB Secondary school, Tura Hindi secondary school, Tura, Don Bosco college, Tura took part in various presentations, discussion on artificial intelligence, algorithms, quiz competitions.

The Undergraduate students from Don Bosco College, Tura actively participated in the interactions with the secondary School students on the theme set for the event.

The event sensitized the students on the importance of science and technology in shaping the future.

National Science Day is observed across the country every year on February 28 to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman, which earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.
