Tura, Nov 24: The NCC Car Rally North Eastern Region, that has been going on since November 6, 2023 to celebrate 75 years of NCC, was flagged in on Friday by Jagdish Chelani, Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills, at the Don Bosco college, Tura.
The convoy arrived at the Don Bosco College campus at around 4pm and was greeted by the NCC cadets with cheer and excitement.
Along with ADG Major General Gagan Deep and DC of WGH Jagdish Chelani, the principal of Don Bosco College and other officials of National Cadet Corps (NCC) were present at the event.
ADG Gagan Deep explained to the young cadets the importance of discipline and communication skills. He also motivated them to make use of every opportunity that NCC provides.
There was also a Wangala Dance and group Garo dance performance by the students of Don Bosco College and Tura Government college.
