Tura, May 5: The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination for the year 2024 was successfully conducted in Tura. This is the fourth time the exam was held in Tura. The examination centers for this year included Tura Govt. College, Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, and Montfort School. Over 1000 plus candidates have appeared this year for the exam.
One of the examination centers had a printing error, but with the intervention of District Administration of West Garo Hills it was rectified immediately. This timely intervention prevented a chaos, as candidates would have otherwise traveled approximately 220 kilometers away from the center in Tura.
NEET, is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is a highly competitive examination for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate medical and dental courses in India. With stringent eligibility criteria and intense competition, NEET serves as a crucial gateway for aspiring medical professionals across the country.
