Speaking to media persons after meeting with the authority of NEHU, the education secretary of FKJGP Gabriel Sun said that they have received complaints from students as well as their parents who are currently studying Law in NEHU.

The university is facing shortage of teachers which hampered the academic performance of the students, he mentioned.

“In the meeting, the pro VC of NEHU had informed us that the university is in process to fill up the vacant post of teachers on contractual basis in the department” said Sun.

Furthermore he added, as per discussion in the meeting, the pro VC had assured them that the process of appointing teachers will be completed within 10 days time.

The insufficiency of teachers in the department had affected the students especially in completing their courses hence it is high time for the department to address this issue for the interest of the students, added Sun.

Moreover the FKJGP had asked the NEHU authority to appoint teachers in the department within 10 days time, failure to do so in the mentioned course of time will lead to undesired action against the concern department.
