Guwahati, Mar 12:Â Filmmakers from Assam have a reason to rejoice as the inauguration of “Rupaleem Chroma Studio” at Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio in Guwahati promises modern filming facilities at a very minimal cost.
Built at a cost of Rs 80 lakh, this state-of-the-art studio aims to relieve the financial burden associated with outdoor location shooting.
Chairman of the Jyoti Chitraban, Vidyasagar said that the studio, named after the iconic play “Rupaleem” by Assamese film legend Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala, will address a longstanding need in the region’s film industry.
It is noteworthy, that the studio’s inauguration marks a significant step towards providing filmmakers in Assam and the northeast with access to cutting-edge resources without the humongous expenses traditionally incurred during location shooting.
