Tura, July 27: The town of Tura has got a new two-wheeler showroom to meet the growing demand of the administrative centre of Garo Hills. J N Suzuki, a prominent two-wheeler dealership, inaugurated its new branch in Tura on Saturday.

The showroom is located at Araimile, New Tura, next to the New Tura Beat House. It is the dealership’s third showroom in the state, after Shillong and Jaintia Hills.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by West Garo Hills Superintendent of Police, Abraham T Sangma, who toured the showroom and examined the vehicles on display.

The dealership offers a wide range of two-wheelers, including both scooters and motorcycles, with a particular emphasis on adventure motorcycles. The scooter lineup features the Suzuki Access 125 with six to seven variants, the Avenis with two variants (special edition and BT), and the Burgman with three variants (standard, Bluetooth connectivity, and EX).

In the motorcycle section, J N Suzuki showcases the Suzuki Gixxer in both 150cc and 250cc models, along with the adventure motorcycle V-Storm SX 250cc.

In addition to vehicle sales, the showroom includes a workshop and service station providing repairs, accessories, and spare parts. The dealership also offers various promotional schemes and a Roadside Assistance Program, providing 24×7 emergency support for Suzuki owners in case of mechanical or electrical breakdowns or traffic accidents.

Speaking to Hub News, the dealership’s owner Pristymai Jyrwa Nongsiej said, “Since we have just inaugurated, we are definitely looking forward to organizing events for riders to showcase their talent. We have previously hosted bike stunt shows in Shillong and plan to bring similar events to Tura.”
