Tura, Oct 25: Various NGO’s from the Chokpot area of South Garo Hills visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) on Wednesday.
The different NGO’s included GSU, CAVC,AYWO, FKJGP, AHAM, and GSMC.
During their visit, they discussed several issues at Chokpot CHC with the concerned incharge of the hospital.
During their discussions, they found several issues, like shortage of healthcare professionals, lack of water and power supply, and lack of hospital renovation funds.
Following this, the NGO’s from the Chokpot area assured that they would take this matter to the concerned officer and would work for the betterment of the Chokpot CHC as well as for the Chokpot region.
