Shillong, Aug 11: The Garo Hills Tourist Taxi Association (GHTAA) has notified that there would be no tourist taxi service from Tura on August 14 due to the association’s meeting on that day.
The association in a press statement requested all stakeholders operating their vehicles from Tura to Guwahati and Shillong to attend its second term meeting on August 14.
The association said that the meeting would be held at the SMELC building at 11.30 am. “There would be no service on August 14 from Tura,” the statement said.
