Guwahati, June 12: The Regional Weather Forecasting Centre, Guwahati on Monday said that extremely heavy rain, wind and thunderstorm can be expected in the North East India on Monday.

The wet spell across the Northeast region seems to continue, giving relief to the people of Assam with scorching heat.

On Monday, heavy rains may lash Assam & Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.

Also, widespread rains and thunderstorms are possible over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka & Goa.
