It has come to the notice of Hub News, an entity of North East Media Hub, that certain messages are being circulated on social media claiming that Hub News has been accorded permission to cover GHADC session.

We strongly disagree with such messages and clarify that we have not applied for any permission for such coverage for the current session.

We believe that GHADC should come up with fair guidelines and empanel media outlets and issue passes in line with Assembly and Parliament or similar mechanism that is an accepted practice.

To express solidarity with other media organisations of Garo Hills, Hub News has decided not to cover the ongoing session of GHADC.
