Shillong, Oct 26: As the by-poll tempo heats up and all political parties are gearing up, the NPP which is contesting from all the three by-poll constituencies is hopeful that people will repose their faith in the party.

Senior NPP leader and Cabinet minister James Sangma maintained that their political party is not a failure and has done lot of developmental work in the state.

The minister was positive that NPP will win all three seats.

“I beg to differ that NPP is a failure. I think as a government we have performed very well and that there are a lot of expectations from this government.’’ mentioned Sangma.

It may be mentioned that the Government has come under continuous attack of illegal coal mining activities, mushrooming of illegal coke plants, alleged scams in power and social department besides the instances of law and order situation in the state to name a few.
